Letter to the Senators I

In regards to the economic stimulus bill, the current administration is engaging in fear mongering of a very deceitful nature; by embracing and preaching the "value" of bipartisanship, they chastise those who differ in opinion from their radical policies.  Do not let the veneer of good will and American interest deceive you; the hand across the aisle does not come in warmth and friendship towards a common goal, but rather slithers forward,  armed with a dagger, ready to hold you ransom by reason of your own moral code.  For truly it is by your own sanction of their villainous moral code that you empower the socialist.  Yet in this time of trial, there is strength to be found in the large number of Americans who still cherish the values and uphold the morality that Conservatives claim to represent.  Your constituents, those who have entrusted you with the power to represent their interests, are a people of conscience, and as such the "value" of bipartisanship is foreign to them.  What matters is what is right, what is morally true, what is principally sound.  The Republicans in the House have recognized the treason inherent in the proposed bill, and their principled and firm stand was a soaring source of pride for those of us waiting for the party of principle.

Senators, the time is now yours to vote on the economic stimulus plan.  Listen to the Conservative intellectuals, who are properly identifying this piece of legislation as a massive and intrusive socialist power grab.  Listen to your constituents who are not yet ready to give up their liberties to the care of a bureaucratic messiah.  Most importantly, listen to your conscience which peers through the chummy world of favor-politics.  The American people are calling upon our Senators to be principled and moral heroes in this time of murky relativism and messianic socialism.  Let the rallying cry of limited government, reduced taxes, and free markets by a large sector of the American public spur the resolve in every Senator of any moral worth to stand firmly by the convictions of our American Capitalism in the face of an ever-increasing hydra of government spending and regulation.

  2. Well done! Have written many letters myself. Most fall on deaf ears with a stamped out response. Nothing can stand in the way of "the party."It's the people, the voters, that hold the keys and their minds must be unlocked.
